This piece is done on clear pine. I woodburned and shaded the vinyard and poppy flower image and then stained over 40 layers of color solely with wine from a local vineyard. There is no paint used this piece except for the layers of clear varnish. I attached a vintage wall mounted wine opener which is fully functional. The corkscrew I found and purchased separately as the wine opener was missing that original part. When you put the corkscrew into the wine bottle, you just set it onto the hooks and pull the handle down and in one easy swoop the cork is removed!
