Original Woodburned Wall Art

These large wooden paintings are done first by woodburning the original image with lines and shading. I then add watercolor and watered down acrylic paint allowing the original natural grain of the wood to show through. To some I add gold leaf and other layers of silver leaf. They are all finished with several layers of varnish to add protection and more dimension of color.
